In order for Amaze to know how much cashback to give, we need to know the amount of the transaction so we can calculate the rewards as they are based on percentage.
Becoming "Verified by Plaid" allows Amaze/Surkus to store limited personal information in order to validate identity (name, email, address and the last 4 digits of an account). Amaze/Surkus also stores the information related to the actual transaction used in the verified purchase. Amaze/Surkus does not store the users' full account numbers, their balance, history, or other financial information. Amaze/Surkus does not ever see a user’s bank account or credit card info (this is all secured by Plaid).
